The former Transformers actress recently gave birth to her second child in February. The actress has gone on record after her first pregnancy as saying that she didn’t gain much (only 23 pounds) and left the hospital almost at her previous weight! This isn’t the typical story for most pregnant women. Her trainer Harley Pasternak admits, she worked out throughout her entire pregnancy and was “a model of health”. Fox also does not eat dairy.


This actress was born May 16, 1986 in Tennessee to her now divorced mother Gloria Darlene and father Franklin Her upbringing with her mother and her later stepfather, Tony Tonachio was “versy strict” so that she never had a boyfriend or friends over to the house. Fox was a tomboy and got bullied for her outgoing personality that seemed to threaten the other girls. The actress grew up taking a variety of dance, swim and modeling classes until she made a move to Los Angeles to pursue her dream.


This American actress and model became a household name as Mikaela Banes, Shia LaBeouf's character love interest in the widely successful film Transformers. The director Michael Bay’s style of heightened glamour filming transformed Fox into a female sex symbol. She has appeared in Maxim and Rolling Stones a very far departure from her early work that included small roles in television and a recurring role on Hope & Faith. In 2009 she starred as the lead in Diablo Cody’s second screenwriting venture in Jennifer’s Body. Proving that she is self-aware, Fox made a small appearance in the 2012 Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy The Dictator playing herself. Fox did not continue in the third Transformers installment due to controversy surrounding her public comments about director Bay who she likened to Hitler. Bay revealed to GQ that the decision to fire Fox came down from executive producer Steven Spielberg. Health and Wellness:

Fox is outspoken and has spoken about her position as a role model. She declares that she does not want to be a symbol of control to support the managing of women. She wants to represent women as whomever they decide to be whether that is outwardly sexy, intelligent and able to fight for your beliefs.

Fox does a mix of Pilates, cardio, spinning classes and specifically recommends circuit training with Pasternak as it targets all the important muscles. If you want to get Fox’s body, a focus on small multiple exercises of crunches, hyperextensions, knee ups, lateral plank, and swiss ball exercises works balance and strength. The circuit is done an hour a day, with 5 minute exercises speparated by 30 second breaks. This intensive cardio-vascular routine makes the most use of the time, and combined with the motivation of a personal trainer she fights her inherent laziness when it comes to exercise.
