While prepping for his role in The Expendables a few years back, the actor visited a California Prison to observe how the prisoners worked out. He found that the inmates had explosive strength and ripped shape, but no equipment or weights (because they had been banned). Instead the inmates used their own body weight. He used what he saw there in his training six days a week.
