Daniel Radcliffe – up to "2014" Lifestyle Updates.
Daniel Radcliffe (117 pounds, 5 feet 5 inches).

Best known as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe has also showed that he has a toned and lean body under his Hogwarts uniform. For his onstage role in the play “Equus” audiences got a nude view of Radcliffe’s body. Radcliffe toned up by cutting out beer and cigarettes and swapping pizza and junk food for salad, veggies, lean meats and dairy.

Born on 23 July 1989, the English actor hails from Jewish, Polish and Russian descent. His parents originally acted as children, leading them to support their son’s acting aspirations. Radcliff’s father, Alan is a literary agent, while his mother, Marcia, casts for the BBC. Growing up, the star knew from the early age of five what he wanted to do. After the successful Harry Potter casting, Radcliff found it hard to continue school, as he became a target for bullying after his found success. Thus, the actor continued his mandatory education with the help of on-set tutors. For him, the option of further education was not that appealing as he already found his passion in life. That combined with the heightened paparazzi presence, Radcliff opted to continue pursing interesting work opportunities.

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is universally recognized as Harry Potter around the globe but that is not his first acting appearance. The star had a role at the young age of 10, in the BBC television film production David Copperfield in 1999. The second film The Tailor of Panama followed this in 2001, a year before Radcliffe was cast as the infamous Harry Potter – a role setting the young boys life for the next 10 years. With his career-defining role, the English actor has the freedom and wealth to branch out and foray into any production that challenged him as an artist. This led him to stage acting in 2007, when he starred in the London and New York productions of Equus. This followed with the 2011 Broadway revival of the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Recently the actor is set to release the horror film Horns, directed by Ig Perrish.

Health and Wellness:

A body full of bulky carved muscles is not possible for everyone. Yet, that does not mean you cannot improve on a lean physique – that is what Radcliffe has done. Some believe the actor has a small frame, but looking at the photo shots of the play Equus where he bares all, the star is undeniably fit. Any person with the same body type has to be careful, as any overeating will pack on additional pounds to their frame. What the actor does eat is a low GI diet, lean meats, dairy and vegetables. He has cut out bread as well, which unfortunately includes pizza.

Radcliffe’s fitness idol is the Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, which is why he includes crunches, sit-ups, and weight lifting. There is also speculation that the actor has abstained from alcohol to promote his healthy lifestyle. Radcliffe supports many charities, including Demelza House Children's Hospice and The Trevor Project.
