Charlie Hunnam – up to "2014" Lifestyle Updates.
Charlie Hunnam (158 pounds, 6 feet).

He plays an outlaw biker on FX’s Sons of Anarchy, and has now landed his first lead in the action film Pacific Rim. Although the television heartthrob still maintains a gorgeous body for his biker role, he had to beef it up even more for his new role. So, after 15-hour shooting days for Sons he finds time to squeeze in his workouts. Hunnam is also a fan of the Bartendaz workout program, a program that is based on intense and challenging workouts using playgrounds and parks.

Hunnam was born on 10 April 1980 Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear to an eclectic family. His late father William was a gangster and scrap metal merchant, while his mother Jane ran a small business and his maternal grandmother was a well-known portrait artist. A product of divorced parents, this actor followed his mother in a move to Melmerby, Cumbria. Hunnam did not take to school as he was expelled from secondary school, forcing him to tale his exams from home. Despite this, Hunnam successfully graduated college with the history of film and performing arts. Hunnam is divorced from fellow actress Katharine Towne and is currently in a serious relationship with jewelry designer Morgana McNelis.

This English actor is most well known on the small screen for playing Jackson "Jax" Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy. Yet, most recently with the release of Guillermo del Toro's sci-fi movie Pacific Rim, the actor has been pushed into spotlight. He reunites with the director, in the horror film Crimson Peak working with fellow actors Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain.

The actor is not without gossip, as it was widely speculated that intense media scrutiny influenced his decision to back out of playing Christian Grey in the controversial, and highly anticipated film adaptation of E. L. James' novel Fifty Shades of Grey. The official media statement points to a conflict of schedule but despite the story, the actor still appears to be on the rise.

Health and Wellness:

Hunnam speaks to Men’s Fitness magazine and allows them insight into his health lifestyle. He shares his 82 pairs sneaker collection and after watching his workout it becomes clear how the actor stays in shape. The one word to describe his secret is: repetitions. Hunnam surpasses the 100 count, in a series of push-ups, dips, and pull-ups centered on a metal pull-up bar. Although this level of commitment guarantees a body worth showing – which he frequently does display on Sons – it is the emotional benefit that most people do not realize. Hunnam admits to simply feeling better as the stimulus gives him clarity to be a better actor.

Along with exercising on the bar, the actor swims and lifts weights. To maintain his lean physique he credits vegetable juice along with lean protein and natural foods. There is no trainer that pushes Hunnam to keep working out, so he has found the Bartendaz method a way of keeping the fun in his lifestyle. The freestyle ability keeps everything fresh and breaks out of the monotony of the gym. The actor is interested in spiritual wellness as he is headed to China to an academy to study mediation, kung fu and weapons training.
